Instant NEW YORKER is a new kind of real estate firm focused on providing professional, courteous and exciting real estate services uncommon in the Manhattan real estate industry. Started in 2004, instant NEW YORKER has strived to create long lasting relationships with all clients that walk through our door - from recent college grads to members of the Fortune 100 executive suite.

Management Team Highlight

A graduate of The George Washington University and Yale Law School, Kara's professional background includes strategy and business consulting for McKinsey and Co., structured equity derivatives sales for BNP Paribas, and NYC residential real estate finance for Trachtman & Bach.

Kara was also an effective recruiter of new consultants while at McKinsey, leading to her selection as team leader of the Firm's national law school recruiting for the Fall 2000 associate start class.  She and her team successfully recruited the largest number of US law school graduates accepting offers that year from any non-legal employer.

Kara’s recruiting and mortgage advisory roles included helping countless new professionals relocate to New York City, where she has made her home base for the last seven years. Like many New Yorkers, she grew up in California.  She bought her first real estate property in Colorado's Rocky Mountains as a second home antidote to the intensity of urban life.
